What's the point of the 'friends' feature on BF

I have 21 BF 'friends'. I get requests now and again. I always say 'yes'.

What's the point of all this? Explain.

I have an IRO frame from a Bikeforums group buy a year or so ago. It's great stuff. If I wrecked it, I'd run right out and buy another.

Ha, I bet. As I recall, you guys were hoping to get 50-or-so orders in order to make the group buy worth it, and ended up getting over 400.

lol on both group buys that we did, we got more than we thought we would. It was tough but everyone loved it so it was worth it all

Whatever you do, don't do a group buy on the Model 19 just yet. I don't have a mountain bike, so that would be too tempting, and I'm running out of space for bikes.
