Bizarre Weather: 59 degrees last night and 14 this morning!

And it rained overnight as well. Finals are starting today, too. I haven't checked yet how much ice is on the van, but I'm sure not going to bike to campus this morning.

    Gotta love mid December!

Haha, van. Is it an orange converstion van with bubble windows? That is what I am imagining.

Where I am I MN it was something above freezing yesterday, and -9 when I got up this morning, so I might have ya beat, or at least tied. Windchill was -35F when I drove to work, though, and that was in the warmest part of the state this morning.

And I saw a cyclist just as I pulled into work. He was going to run a red light, then saw me and realized I wasn't going to try/nor could I stop for him if he ran it, so he hoped off halfway through the intersection.

Yeah, Purdue only closes in the event of the Apocalypse, though....no delays, either.

No, not an Orange Van with bubble windows, it's a Teal Green Lumina Van.

Yep, good old Northern Illinois winter ---- 55 degrees F yesterday, with 30 MPH winds, gusts to 45 yesterday. Then 5 degrees this morning, with the same winds, with a lot more gusts.

It was really brutal out there this morning. Bare skin hurt just walking.
