Agreed.

I hate that it's ending, but it's cool that they've taken it to a logical end and aren't going to jump the shark with it.

Not a remake. A prequel called Caprica. Set 50 years before the current BSG timeline. They've got a mini-movie already in the can. SciFi ordered a whole series worth of eps.

I would have thought you basement of the science building types would know about this.
