    Interracial relationships!

You knew this thread was coming...so here it is.

So far, I've dated two Asian women (Filipina and Chinese, respectively), two white women, one Indian woman (sort of), one African-American woman, one Puerto-Rican/Cherokee woman (that was weird) and am currently dating one that is African-American and Puerto Rican. Have yet to date one of my own (Dominican or Domincian-American).

I think that being in an interracial relationship isn't as big of a deal as it's made to be; if anything, it's more to sate a sexual preference. The emotions are color-blind and the fun is all the same (in different ways). There are people that date ONLY based on racial preference, and that is really self-limiting. I used to highly prefer Asian women, but the woman I'm with now showed me how dumb I was to think that way.

Hmmm...dated Filipino, White, Korean adopted by White parents, Jew, then Filipino. That's Asian, White, Asian, White, Asian. There seems to be a cycle here...

I think other people made a bigger deal of my being in interracial relationships than I did. I don't care what a person's race is--as long as we're compatible, it's all peachy.

Filipina, White, (Filipina), Indian, (Filipina), Ecuadorian (how could I forget her!!), (Filipina), PR/Cherokee, (Filipina), Chinese, (Filipina), White, and then my current girlfriend (Afro-Am/PR). Damn her for breaking the cycle!

Notice that I've only dated ONE Filipina...you women are addictive. It's something in the lumpia and hidden meanings in the Tagalog.

Oh yes, lumpia is amazing! It kept 1st White guy quite happy. Second White guy was hooked on my chicken tortilla soup, oddly enough. Teh bf is partial to my pastas with chicken. Or actually, anything that I put chicken in. Ah, such diverse tastes.

Been there and done that a few times. I'd do it again, except for the fact that my current boyfriend is technically the same "race" as me...and I kind of like him.

That's the first I've heard of your wife! I thought you had some type of monastic lifestyle...

I'm sorry, Danno, but I can't stand women with that English accent! It's cute for maybe 2.7 seconds for me.

Well...she gave me lumpia and other amazing Filipino dishes (I swear, her family *never* cooked anything bad!); I gave her Dominican dishes and music, and she was hooked like fish to bait!

The next time I'm late paying a bill, I'm going to squirt a bunch of lube on it and see what happens.
