When mom's attack... :)

My mom came to stay with me for a few days and help herd the butterflies while I am toiling away at work... the girls are thrilled and my mom has been having a great time.

When she is not getting beat at cards she has been tidying up what I thought was a pretty clean house and although I really love the help...

I... can't.. find... anything.

My mom will be 80 in March and she complains that she can't do as much as she used to... she can still do more than most people half her age and never seems to stop.

We bought our house from my parents. To this day, my mother will not tell my wife where to put anything. He standard response is, "It is your house now dear". Pretty funny actually.

Our housekeeper, not so much. She will put ****e anywhere that is convenient. No rhyme or reason.

Glad your mom is able to spend time with the girls. If they are beating her in cards, perhaps you should encourage betting.

So that explains why my grandparents aren't invited up to our house very often.

I feel it best to wait to make a choice.

Perhaps there is a sister named "Sixty Niner" in this freaky family.

Sorry dude... my sister is a late 50's model and my brother in law still appreciates the classics.

My mother is not allowed in my house, due to our differences on how things should be in a house. She doesn't want to come, either. We'd both like to avoid WWIII.

I told her years ago that I would assist with a condo if she and I ever lived in the same city and she needed help. I would pay someone to come in and do things the way she wanted. In the meantime, she'd better not try that stuff on my house.

...I'm over 40 and I don't think it's going to change.
