Anything good to say about your partner lately?

Maybe it was the x-mas spirit or something... but wifey over here haz been doing some good things lately. I usually say the bad ones so it's only fair I give her credit this time...

I've been in bed most of the time since my surgery, calling my wife very often via the intercom function of the cordless phones (modern equivalent of shaking a bell). She always come pretty quick and attends my whinage... I'm hungry, The TV remote fell to floor, get the AC up or down, etc.

She haz been changing by bandages daily.

Every night, she helps me to the shower where she gives me a thorough bath (this is my favorite). Then dries me up and helps me get dress and get back to bed.

How are your loved ones taking care of you, fellow foosters?

My wife always does special things for me. She even gave me some this morning because I wished her a Merry Christmas first thing after she woke up!

Being the hot Puerto Rican she is, she is insatiable! (poor me!)

My partner agreed to cut down on the order and to let me have off the past couple of days. AND to give me another day off!

Why is everyone talking about their wives and stuff?

Mine has a cold and is whiney. But since he is a delight (mostly) the rest of the time I'm trying to be nice.

Oh that sounds bad. OK, I'm not great around sick people, including myself.

But the morning has been calm, tranquil, and serene. Occasionally punctuated with coughs or a sneeze yet he is in great spirits and has already sung me a Christmas song delightfully out of tune. Soon we are leaving to meet up with my best friend for a presents swap, coffee, cupcakes, and a movie late this evening. Can't wait!!

He is my sweet babycat!!

He fed me cheese! Lost of cheese! and he let me sit and nurse a strong vodka tonic and wine throughout his grandpa's yearly hour long Christmas religious sermon because he knows I am atheist and have to be quite buzzed to sit through those things. Some people would tell me NOT to get drunk during prayer time, but teh bf is very understanding.

he sounds like a keeper!

btw - the worst thing so far about our holiday is that with all the recent craziness here I totally blanked on many last minute things....and the worst was when our guests arrived last night and were very disappointed to find there was no Neko tiramisu I was a bad host and forgot to make it.....
