Christmas Tree Woes

I had to do a little preemptive work to see if I needed to work tomorrow when the wife comes out wearing not a whole lot and is doing a little Christmas dance. So I finish up while she's prancing about. I set the computer down and we wrestle a little on the couch when one of us bumps the ill balanced Christmas tree . She looks and says the tree is leaning a lot more than usual. At that point I reached in my pocket to turn on my ninja switch. I get up and as I'm reaching for the tree and it starts to tumble. So I grab it, and attempt to re-balance it with no luck(there are at least twelve 10lb ornaments on their, ok maybe not 10lbs but not a far stretch). Long story short, it killed the mood (only for a moment) and we had to remove some heavy ornaments to get the tree back in check. We got a good chuckle out of it.

I have a fake tree that is bolted to the stand. Never had a problem with it tipping.

And please don't go into any details about how Santa decided if the wife was good or naughty.

I thought would have been fun to hang ornaments again. Like tassels.
