my fenix flashlight is better off the bike then on

As far as I am concerned walking is far more dangerous then riding a bike anymore. trying to cross the street when you have the light and a walk signal can get you killed. drivers will start turning left and will not yield. I can go months without a problem on my bike but every day walking I have drivers not yielding.
well here I was crossing tonight with the light and a guy in a SUV was not going to stop well shining my fenix ld20 right in his eyes worked but it took several seconds. I was just about ready to put it on strobe. anymore I keep it in hand to get drivers to stop.
It's getting to the point a driver will yell at you for crossing because you are delaying him even when you have the right away.

I like your technique. Drivers in CA are better than most places, but some will just keep going even if you are trying to cross the street in a crosswalk.

I agree. Whenever people tell me they worry about my on my bike, I ask them if they have tried to cross the street lately. I feel safer on my bike than walking, too.

My wife stops in the middle of the street if people harrass her while trying to cross. I told her that is not a good idea, but she's stubborn.

Just don't assume a car will stop, even if you have on a yellow pearl izumi jacket. Always assume every car will run every stop sign and red light. That way you have the proper mindset of wait until everything is clear, or everyone has stopped.

I agree, walking takes too much time. On the bike I can clear the crossing faster. Drivers don't care if you have the right of way. On a bike I can get out of the way faster.

the goofy thing is here in Portland drivers are really good if your on a bike. my wife is blind and she has a very hard time crossing streets because no one will yield even when they are just turning right.
now peds walk right in front of cars and make them stop so I guess whyat comes around goes around.

How would you get a 416? HK, the "you suck and we hate you" company doesn't like to sell them to mere law abiding citizens. You have to be a government tool, or I guess they think you're not smart enough to handle their regular guns, only the neutered ones. Kinda funny though, since the government hasn't even shown much interest in their crap lately.

Would you shut your trap if I had posted an AK-47 knock-off instead?
