    Neil Young is...

....still Rockin in the Free World in his 60's. Hard, I have to add. I saw him last week with Wilco opening. I gotta say he blew my doors off. I have not seen him live in a while. Any other fans out there? Wilco wasnt too shabby either.

I'm a huge Neil Young fan since I first heard him with CSNY in 1970 or so @ age 12. We were all Young heads in high school. My favorite Neil Young album (and about the most raw) has always been Tonight's the Night. Neil Young RULES. You get singer/songwriters of that power and quality once in a generation. A national friggin treasure to be sure. But since he's from Canada, I'm not sure who gets to claim him : ).

I'd say after 40+ years in California, he's American by now.
