Anybody not like roadies with their derailleurs?

Not to hate on them but some of them just drive me nuts. I don't understand the obsession with shifting gears and being so proud about having colored jerseys, or w.e else they think they are so cool about. And the shaved leg thing is driving me nuts. I don't I guess I'm just tired of seeing them on the roads acting all proud and mighty. Anybody else not like them? Reasons?

Look, you're obviously a long-time member and you make a lot of posts in the Road Forum. You really should know better than to troll (and use overplayed humor at that), it's certainly against the forum's Terms of Service. No one from SSFG bothers you with stale troll jokes in the Road Forum.

Reported.

This is the kind of thread that makes you just want to pull up a comfy chair, pour a good beer, and hit the refresh button over and over again, 'cuz I predict some very sarcastic, lame, and combative posts about to come along to provide page after page of pure SSFG entertainment.

I'm so proud of my multi speed bike and cycling jersey that sometimes I have to prance around carrying my bike above my head to prove it.

I am a roadie, and I do not like me. I think it just goes with the territory. Self loathing and all.

au contraire, my lovely. Foo is the great capacitor of hatred threads.

But I'm still too lazy to shave my legs. Tomorrow, if I ride, I will not shift so as to spite myself.

Maybe he hacked off the cable stops and deraileur mounts with his multi tool, you know, the one on his white leather belt with two sets of holes, holding up his capri pants, and rides fixie.

Yeah that was Tom. That was before he got that surgery, but he borrowed a shrinking device from Rick Moranis so he could tag along.

I never thought I would see Michigander and prancing in the same sentence, much less posted by Michigander.

I am laughing right now Mich, picturing you prancing.
