This time last year I was not a dateless loser, but I also wasn't particularly happy. I ended it in April/May and been on a few dates since, but nothing with staying power. At the moment I'm not especially concerned about it.

I have to say that my wife is likely the best thing that ever has or ever will happen to me where it comes to relationship and the opposite sex. She puts up with a lot of **** and keeps on loving me, and I her. In spite of that deep love and mutual respect I have no illusions about that fact that she certainly rates on the scale on a level exponential to and in line with his graph.

My mom asked me about this girl in Portland who I would talk about, but had not yet met in person... she asked how I was sure she wasn't a guy named Bob and I told her that I would be sure to check which made her laugh.

My wife got to meet my mom shortly before she passed away (my mom could not attend our wedding in Portland) and even when she was so very ill... I could tell that my mom was so happy to meet her new daughter in law.

I had to tell my mom that I had checked to make sure she was a not a guy named Bob which amused her to no end despite the circumstances... my mom was the kind of person who never cared as much for herself as she did for her kids and knowing they were happy meant everything to her.

Reminds me that I need to check out my wife... just to make sure.

For my mom.

Growing up near Atlanta I learned early on that "checking" was a prudent idea.

I had a plan for Friday night, and then I had a nap.

I'm at starbucks, and saw the girl with the nicest body I've ever seen. all the guys were looking at her in your tight yoga pants. I mustered enough balls to talk to her, and we had a small conversation before she got her drink and left. I didn't push to get her number, but one thing at a time. that's my problem. I never go for the practice girls. I go straight for the price. Maybe I should take this time when I'm not working to practice my game.
