Welcome to the FNDLC.

Pull up a chair and grab a beer.

I should be sorting all the laundry in the spare room...

If was summer I'd invite you all over to sit around the fire and drink Drambuie until dawn... the new place has a fire pit which pleases me to no end.

And spirits are better than beer.

It's a lovely Saturday afternoon here and after I've done some gardening, a bike ride and tea, I have a nice glass or two of Glenfiddich.

It's summer over here, so you are all welcome to come over and drink the night away.

I don't have a fire pit though.

can't find the picture of my old beer hauler...it was good for 7 cases total it was my beach bike with the massive front and rear baskets. It was about 4 blocks from the house to the beer barn, then 3 blocks to the beach.

I could always hook up the six foot trailer... it is quite the sight to see when it's attached to the longbike.

I usually make it that she just can't handle how wonderful I am ; It's overwhelming, so she has to leave the room. This makes things lonely for me but I am nice and understanding about her predicament. With Debussy in the background, the scene fades to black.

Now that would be a beer hauler...shades of duct taping up the holes in the pickup bed and filling with ice and beer for the bonfire weekends. Used to buy generic beer, it came in white cans that said "BEER" on the label in black, IIRC it was like $4-5 a case $100 would go a long, long ways

I like the way you think... I'd leave the holes so that when the ice melted it would just drain out.

NO WAY! You left the water in there, parked the truck in the sun so you could get a bath on Sunday!

In reality the reason we taped the holes was to keep the cracked ice in...that truck had holes in the cab floorboards large enough to lose a 6 pack through (actually lost a 4 pack through it one day) and the bed was worse.
