Dinner tonight, a reward so to speak, after loosing 60 pounds . I've been watching calories for so long, I forgot what it's like to just eat for the sheer pleasure of it!
A lovely tenderloin cooked to medium rare in bacon fat. Baked potatoes with butter, sour cream, bacon, chives, cheddar/jack. Broccoli and asparagus cooked in butter and bacon fat. A lovely local Zinfandel in the glass.
Now I'm settling down with a nice Arturo Fuente cigar and a glass of brandy.
I'd say I blew my calorie budget by at least 3 fold.
And the best part is that the kids are playing quietly now with full tummies
