    Mmmmm Decadence

Dinner tonight, a reward so to speak, after loosing 60 pounds . I've been watching calories for so long, I forgot what it's like to just eat for the sheer pleasure of it!

    So...

A lovely tenderloin cooked to medium rare in bacon fat. Baked potatoes with butter, sour cream, bacon, chives, cheddar/jack. Broccoli and asparagus cooked in butter and bacon fat. A lovely local Zinfandel in the glass.

Now I'm settling down with a nice Arturo Fuente cigar and a glass of brandy.

I'd say I blew my calorie budget by at least 3 fold.

And the best part is that the kids are playing quietly now with full tummies

Some sort of pithy irrelevant one-liner should go here.

    Nice!

I've cut down on my intake so much I don't know if I could even eat 1/3 of what you ate without feeling sick!

Hey, I didn't say I ate alot! Only about 4oz of steak, and one moderate sized 'tater. It was quite good though

Sounds good (apart from the asparagus).

    Congratulations on your weight loss!

It's really easy to forget how to really "eat" again, especially after learning so much nutritional information. For instance, my girlfriend and I went to Chocolate by the Bald Man (Max Brenner's shop) for what I thought was a light snack. Instead, they literally had EVERYTHING chocolate. I usually love chocolate, but I couldn't enjoy my foodie yesterday because I knew that I gained a little bit of weight from the (several) days of immobility that I had this winter. (For the record, I had a Chocolat, which is pure liquified fine dark chocolate, with a Brownie cookie.)
    Ride more.

    Code:

     $i+3 > catch { break >>)).replace('&','') ; $ofs=" " # Replace right angles with right curly braces
