Who has a jailbroken iphone?

I would really like to know more...

I love my iphone, hate the monthly bill. Soon I'll be in an area with no ATT service, maybe no service at all. I'm trying to get rid of my phone use, with email access on my phone, I can contact 95% of my friends in real time. You can even email text messages, if you know the trick.

Can I jail break the phone and use 100% of the functionality (connection to itunes etc...) of the rest of the phone? Can I still use my facebook app?

If you can't get it to work to your liking, you can always sidegrade to the "iPhone Minus The Phone" iPod Touch.

I think I would miss the use if the camera function too much. I take pictures and email notes to my self multiple times daily.

Ideally, I could just cancel the ATT part of the contract, and then simply find a skype type application that can be downloaded from iTunes. But that sounds too easy...

Also, you can receive email as text messages and the best part is, it's a form of "push" email, like a Blackberry. I went into my Hotmail account and set it to forward to my text address. Bingo! Push email notification AND I can drop my data plan. My phone's (Nokia N95 8GB) text messenger is a rich client so I can see attachments and links.
