The Raleigh is Picasso (it's blue)

The Univega is Shirley (because there are days when I look out at the weather before my commute and say "surely you can't be serious." and the bike responds "I am. and don't call me shirley." So I named it Shirley out of spite.

Touring bike is Hildy - good on hills.
My brignt red folder is Little Red. That's more a desccription than a name.
The new green Trek Pure doesn't have a name yet, nothing has jumped out at me.

My 1st bike, the comfort bike, I call my "john deere". The current bike, touring/commuter bike is called my "hideously charming commuting bike".

Do I name my bikes? duh!

I keep Shadowfax downstairs, a stall away from Babe the Blue Ox, and Phantom, and Cyclone. Am deliberating on the name for the new one that I got in trade for Tornado.

My fixed gear was named beyonce because of a joke,

road bike, mountain bike, single speed, geared 'cross bike (since the ss is also a 'cross bike), and the Gazelle. which will probably suffer a downgrade to "three speed" once it's rolling again.

both my road bikes hurt me.

Grace is a pain in the ass and joyce is a pain in the neck. Any suggestions for renaming them?

My Xtracycle is named Friday, after the Robert Heinlein novel/character.
