I'm cheating!

I started on my normal routine this morning ( sweep, mop, feed the fish, cats and dogs, clean 4 trays of kitty litter, take a shower. ) then I just didnt feel like doing anything? Although this is not normal for me I do think I deserve a break, so I took a shower and Im doing the laundry (easy work) while watching TV! and although I feel bad for some strange reason, it also feels good! It's like Im cheating!
Opinions please

Wow, I could have written that.

Before baby, and even now that things are settling down with baby, I felt like I had to go nuts on nights my wife is working. If I ever took 15 minutes to do nothing, I felt really guilty, so I would also fold laundry while watching 20 minutes of TV per week.

Heaven forbid I checked my email instead of cleaning the fridge--then I felt really guilty.

Baby has helped me relax. If I don't get to the dishes by 4p, they will still be there at 8, and so on.

And it's working. Now I don't *worry* about organizing the 1001 photos my wife took that day; I will get to them when I get to them (tonight, actually).

Sounds like a slippery slope into procrastinationville. Although, why you'd procrastinate while doing laundry is beyond me.

Procrastination - It sounds difficult. Perhaps I'll procrastinate tomorrow.

Today I got home and decided that I needed to move one of the rhododendrons. This thing has been in the same place as long as I've owned the house. I've tried moving it before, but as soon as I encounter those whopping big rocks I give up. Not today! I dug, and dug, and dug. Then I got tired, so I decided to go inside and wash some dishes so as to take a break.

I felt guilty for washing the dishes .

Go figure.
