    someone stole my sock!

I was at the gym yesterday during lunch. While I was changing to leave, my shoes rolled out of my locker and ended up not very far from me. The ******bag next to me put on one of my socks and left. He left behind one of his. Now this dumbass is walking around with one black gold toe thick wool sock (which was mine) and one thin ribbed dress sock. I didn't see all this happen because he was on the other side of my open locker door.

Really! how can you mix those up?

So I had to spend the rest of the day in my sweaty workout socks.. eww!
I am not young enough to know everything.

Actually I stole your sock, and you probably don't want it back. Just trust me on this one....

Dang that's a lot of colorful socks.
*goes crazy and steals them all* :-D
*and finds a good spot to hide while not realizing he grabbed too many socks and left a breadcrumb trail*

Is it wrong that I am happy when I get a hole in a sock because I score a new rag to wipe down the rig?

Every sock is unique! How can I bear to part with the angry Tweety, the rainbow sock or my favorite white socks with a little red bandana sewed around the top of it with a tiny bow in back ...

I use my old shirts and skirts for such cleaning activities, never a sock. They get proper burials when they have become too thin or holey to wear.

sounds like some are already wiping down their rigs with socks.

hehe - few years ago as I was attending my bike club's board of director's meeting - held in an old quiet church ---- I realized I had on such a pair of socks (oh yeah -- red santa socks are awesome for bicycling at night ...) when I moved my legs and all you could hear was a spindly nasal little high pitched "silent night" from under the table.

    Couldn't turn it off either.

Had to leave and remove the nasty device.
