Most Entertaining: The infamous R600DuraAce "Dialing It Up to 400 Watts" thread.

The Load Bearing Decal thread was great!

As far as the Road Forum is concerned, it's sad to see how the tone has changed over the years.

I started out there in '05 - never really go anymore. Is it just super nasty all the time now?

yes most definitely!!!

- My neighbors are making too much noise and I can't study. If I build a box in the middle of the room and fill the walls with 1000lbs of sand, will it keep the noise out?

- I need to move. What will the movers charge?

- etc. etc. etc.

Kris....I also loved that "start a thread title like MERTON" thread you made one time. Too bad it got closed so quickly....that was some funny stuff.

To this day I still remember you're first offering, "Is peanut butter poisonous to polar bears?".

Merton's posts were all good! I enjoyed his and the Underwear Nazi's and A.troll's. The "bicycle smile" thread was pretty good, too.

Here are two of my very favorite threads though.

Underwear Poll

The Chipcom Man Photo Gallery

The "bicycle smile" thread was pretty good, too.

Bicycle Smile is probably the most classic thread EVAR!!!!! I'm sorry I wasn't around or missed it when it was new, but caught it on a revival some time later. That was some of the best stuff of all-time.

please can we not bring up the bicycle smile thread? It almost caused a BF meltdown. . .

I always enjoyed the Aussie's threads before they moved elsewhere

but this is one of my all time favorite threads:
Top gun school of Cycling

I wasn't around for the Bicycle Smile thread in its original incarnation, but how in the world could that have possibly been worse than the Aussie threads?
