It's been a day

Holy cra*! What a day! Too much drama, crazy kids, paperwork, grading. Ugh! Am crawling into bed and pulling the covers over my head...waving the white flag...I give up...I'm done...No more.

How was your day?

So far I'm having a bad year....at least work-wise.

I'm really hating this job and with the atmosphere and all the people laid off, I don't dare try to find another.

Busy - getting caught up after a week out. Sorry you're having a rough one <3. Maybe if you got a big red "F" stamp and a red ink pad.

I'm sorry you aren't happy at your job. It makes me sad to hear when people don't like what they do. I love my job. Teaching is what I have always wanted to do. We should all love what we do.

Blah, writing research papers for me here. I seriously hate writing about topics I am not interested in and it's very nearly killing my research drive. I can't wait to GTFO of undergrad and go off to grad school where I can do the research *I* want to do and hopefully rediscover my love of research.

Hugs all around, and chocolate!!! No snuggies though; anyone who gives me one will face the wrath of the highly vicious trained attack kitteh currently curled up by my side.

Or chocolate to wear and snuggie to eat. I'm sure if you wear chocolate, you may become somebody edible desire as well.

The good news is that the day is over but the bad news is that you have to do it again tomorrow

Ms. MillCreek has been working on report cards for the past two weeks, and this week is for parent-teacher conferences. I have the wine poured for her when she gets home. She'll need it.

Pretty good, just had a two hour long discussion with someone on the constraints on a covariance matrix based on model dynamics. Before that I was lazily programming along. I love programming and I love kicking the ***** out of MIT post-docs ....Especially when they majored in my field

Other than that...nothing special.

You have a rather strange vision of grad school.....90% of the people I know do not get to write on what they find interesting. They write on what their prof finds interesting and what is publishable.

Fascinating discussion. I enjoy finding people that I can share meaningful, intelligent discussions with...especially if I am kicking the ***** out of someone who thinks they know it all.
