How's this for the luck of the Irish???

I go into work today and start talking to my captain about how I want to start shooting film again. He says " I used to develope film in high school. I took 3 years of it, and infact, I got a scholarship to UCONN for it"..I told him" wow, that's really cool, I never knew that."...He says to me." I still have my old developing stuff, magnafier, pans...You want 'em?" I was like" SURE!!!"...So I have the hard part fixed...

THEN, It turns out, My friends mom has an old pentax k1000 she doesn't use anymore..Guess who's scoopin that one up???? The ole Lodimiester..thats who. And she has some lenses for it to boot. Since all pentax mounts are the same, the lenses I have will work ( some don't, they have to have apeture rings) but I haven't had luck this good in a long time...sorry for braggin, i'm pretty siked right now...

Sweet lodi.

Ilford's liquid chemicals are very easy to use, and I like their paper as well.

Congrats on the developing equipment and the K1000. Now you just need a gallon or two of flat black paint and get to work on the bathroom.

Didn't Ilford stop making paper a few years back? I could have sworn they did, but maybe it was just their B&W paper that got the axe. Too bad, too.

I believe you are thinking of AGFA

B&H has it in stock

Ah, that must be it. I looked around on Ilford's website, but it was their main website, which is full of digital photography bits. Cool.

That's great, Lodi. Seems to me these were all gifts toward your talent. Prove to them their gifts will be a great reward to them. Take your best shots with that Pentax, develop them with the equipment and present a framed photograph to them as a thank you.

I think that might be a very proud moment for them.
