Get a good workout routine going, it always helps clear the mind in bad times. Seriously, it sounds trite but it helps.

Yes, the weather is beautiful here. Low- to mid-70s all week, maybe some showers this weekend, and then high 60s to low 70s next week. Excellent.

For the moment, bike rides and getting to things that I just haven't had time to get to. Beyond that... nope.

I have some long rides planned for this May. I'll actually have time to prepare, now.

Of course, I kind of feel like going on a century right now...

It'll come. Meanwhile, Kris is right - get out there, ride and clear your head, it helps.

Hey x - don't know what you do, but there's a pretty good future in doing energy audits.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

To be honest, I don't know where I want to go from here.

But I'm definitely going for a ride today. One day at a time!

Also, don't rule out applying for financial aid and going back to school, it's building your future as well as sort of taking a vacation from the 9 to 5 grind you're probably sick of. I did this a couple years ago and it was a good decision, I'm about 43% less pissed off nowadays.

Maybe you can get a job selling these to HR managers.

From what I've heard...they're giving them out at an alarming rate.

Bummer. I got the same word three months ago. I'm still looking, although I'm only just now starting to get really serious about. I've had my share of time off.

Ahh. Put some downloaded radio shows on the iPod and went for a ride. Only 25 miles, but it was nice. Aside from the headwind the whole first half. Feh to that.

I'm definitely giving some consideration to going to school. I do need it.

That'd be difficult for me. I'd get too attached to the axes and the fun they bring, and I wouldn't be able to let them go.
