Eeny Meeny ---- which of these do I pick?

to split with my boss?

(walked back from restaurant and JUST happened to be on the side of the street where there's a little bakery ...)

The pretty fruit tart with strawberries, blackberries and clemantine sections on it?

Or the key lime tartlet

I couldn't just get a cookie you know.

Damn....they both look awesome! I love me some lime, but for the extra fruities, I think I'd go with the fruit tart and pass the lime along.

Next time get same two and switch!

The obvious solution is to eat both and don't tell anyone you went to the bakery.

To split with the boss? What kind of commie crap is that? Tell the boss to buy his or her own damn bakery treats! Then take a few bites of your own and throw the rest away.

if the boss doesn't know about it yet, scoff them both and keep stum.

make sure you wipe your mouth and don't leave any evidence.

hehe - we split them. Good thing too. I know why that was the LAST key lime tartlet. It was freakin stale. The little blob of real whip cream - fell off to the floor - it stayed intact. However, just because it was a little overly chewy didn't mean that I didn't eat it.

Fruit tart was out of this world. Thinking of riding my bike down after work and picking up a couple more for when I see Mom on Sunday - but I have a dangerous suspicion that they wouldn't make it to Sunday ...

You're too generous. When it comes to desserts, it's every person for them self.

Who remembers the words to Eany Meanie? We always caught a "n*****" by the toe. It was a child's nursery rhyme for cris sakes so don't get all bent.

OH NO! Stale baked goods, that's soo wrong. The baker hates it when I walk in 'cause I don't even look at the front rack. "I want that one", I points to the hot tray still in the kitchen. And I'll have two of them thank you!
