1. Any sort of heading?
2. Post their question at the top or just start writing?
3. Single spaced or double spaced?
4. Indent paragraphs?
5. Approximate length?
6. After your final paragraph do you put anything specific? Just put your name? Sincerely? From? Love? It will be submitted electronically so I can't actually sign it.
Anything else I forgot or any tips would be great. Thanks
Write about a 1 page essay format paper addressing what your goals are for your degree, what made you choose the field, why you think you would be a good candidate for the program, etc. Double spacing is not necessary (professors use that so it is easier to get through 75 papers and make comments). Do not sign it. This isn't a letter. Your name should appear in the header. Before you start typing your essay, center "Statement of Purpose".
