Need a new rack...

Anyone have experience with the Thule T2 918 or the Yakima Holdup hitch racks? Need to be able to haul bikes with the new bike hauler!

Have you checked the Hollywood Sportrider out?

Similar design, but cheaper. It's a lot more, but I have the 4-bike Sportrider SE model.

I thought this was a thread about breast augmentation.

Imagine my disappointment.

Hey now.

First the thread about beavers -- hitting them, how they smell, etc -- and now this.

I have the Yakima Hookup, the predecessor to the Holdup. It is my favorite rack. 15 seconds to mount or dismount a bicycle, there is no frame contact and the bikes are held firmly. At the time I bought it, it was one of the few tray-style racks that fit a 1.25" receiver on my Ford Escape.

Sheesh... you guys lack subtlety... Had I been asking about that, I"d have used the proper noun format:

I need a new Rack; vs the less significant rack, referring to a bicycle carrier for a vehicle.

Now, can we get back on track on the less titillating, yet still significant topic at hand?

Right now, there's an online shop offering the Holdup for 20% off, at $319 and Yakima has a $50 mail in rebate on top of that. (free shipping, too)

I think I prefer the arms that torque down on the tire vs the frame, thus the T2 and Holdup comparisons. Saris has one, too, called the Cycle-on.

Agreed.

I thought this going to be about saline vs. silicone...

Otherwise, can't help you.
