Foo ride report.

I'm fat and slow, but I got to take Alegria out on her maiden voyage. We did about 12 miles at under 18 mph. She's wicked stiff (compared to Betty, the 23 year old Trek) and really light. We just did the flats. The hills will have to wait until I get a little stronger.

God, what fun. I love riding my bike. :woot:

As someone who hangs out in P&R as much as you do, you can't honestly call Road a pit.

Besides, this is Foo. No bikes allowed! [hitler smiley]

Ok, well I do spend time in P&R, but I wouldn't call anyone there an a*hole. I can't say the same of Road...

She's a nice bike. Just gotta adjust that saddle a little higher. Glad your first ride was a good one.

if we ever ride together I'm gonna anti-race you. We'll see who can cover the same distance in a longer amount of time.

I had Shadowfax out for 24 miles with the "C" group Saturday. Add the 4 miles each way to and from the ride, and I put in an enjoyable, stress free ride of 32 total miles on an absolutely gorgeous day. So what that we only averaged about 14 mph.

If x moves the thread, I'll move it back.
