My Trip To Boston!

So my kid gets accepted to Boston College and I of course have to go with the bride to check it out. I drove up and we pull into a charming motel in Waltham. Eh! A Hilton low end. Not bad though.

We go into Boston proper and the parking is expensive. What else is new? We park and go eat at a place called Durgins and we wander around the shops and all. Okay. I can't believe the number of college kids crammed into a place called Tia's. I am now a geezer but it takes me back.

I am around the corner going on some cheesy Ghost Tour. The funniest part of the night is one of the characters calling me, "the large mysterious man". The wife cracks up but I don't get the humor.
We end up screaming and yelling at passersby and at some of the pub folks. Why? I have no idea but I am bored and wish I were younger so I could get loaded. Sigh! It is not to be.

The next day on the BC campus I wander around listening to a series of people talk and I am exhausted. Near the end of the day we get to see what a typical dorm room looks like. Eh!

As I am walking back down to my car I pass a dorm and someone yells out "Wow! Look at that guy....he's HUGE!!!

My wife starts laughing again. I don't see the humor.

I miss riding in the beautiful weather.

I have seen BC. I went on the cheesy Ghost Tour and I think I was insulted. Just another few days in the life! SIGH!!!! My trip to Boston!

Now I lay me down to sleep
Keep my bike safe from the bicycle thief
Keep my tootsies toasty warm
keep my carbon from any harm

Good Night Road Bike
Good Night Moutain Bike
Good night all you Foosters
And good night Moon

Your writing is reminiscent of that of a mid sized human.

Durgin Park = weird museum piece. They've changed ownership a bunch the last couple decades. The sign up about 'your grandparents and their grandparents ate here too' is true in my case, so it still holds a form of appeal.

Been to Boston twice, both times in college and both times for working weekends, but I loved the place.

At the time I was about 6' tall and weighed around 200lb.
