    How would a human......

hatch a chicken egg without an incubator?

Would you keep it in an electric blanket? Would that be too hot? And if it does hatch, what do baby chic eat?

Disclaimer: I am not a chicken farmer and I don't play one on TV.

I think the most logical place to incubate a chicken egg for a human would be the armpit. It's a nice round space that stays pretty warm. Don't newborn baby chicks eat whatever bugs or feed their mother spits into them?

If you are walking around with a chicken egg in your armpit I don't think antiperspirant would be your first concern.

When I hatched some, umm, several years ago, for a science experiment, it involved a very sophisticated assembly of cardboard boxes and incandescent light bulbs.

Growing your own food, or looking for a new pet?

Incandescent lightbulb and a box - food, crushed seed/cracked corn. Chick kibble if you have a feedstore in your area.

I would use the place that most humans store their brains in to hatch my egg.

Shoebox with about a 25 watt light bulb at one end and the egg at the other. You want the temp. to be about 100 F. Turn eggs about 1/4, 4 times a day. Put a small tray of water near the bulb for humidity.
Some of my most painful moments started with the phrase, "hold my beer".

    armpit or between the groin.

because that's where your major arteries run.
Food for thought: if you aren't dead by 2050, you and your entire family will be within a few years from starvation. Now that is a cruel gift to leave for your offspring. ;)

what do you mean by incubator? If an electric blanket or heating pad is allowed, what about just an unshaded incandescent bulb?

And butter. Don't forget the butter. (olive oil if you're trying to cut saturated fats)

I'd give it a try for science's sake, but besides the obvious logistical difficulties, I'm thinking the enormous yellow dog would put a swift end to the experiment.
