Underwear rotation

I have a drawer for my undies, another one for my socks and another one for white t-shirts and muscle shirts. I have enough of these to last for a whole month. When I do my laundry I empty my undies drawer, place the recently watched undies at the bottom then put my other clean undies on top. I do similar rotation with socks and shirts. IMHO it is important to do proper rotation with your undies. Otherwise you will use the ones on top over and over again while the ones at the bottom remain unused.

Wifey says I'm paying too much attention to mu undies...

I'm I an obsessive compulsive undies rotator?

Sounds like you just have too many. I wash once a week and have enough for a week. Well, one or two more than that in case I have to stretch the wash an extra day or two.

I used to do that, but my wife insists that we share our drawers (i.e. we share a sock drawer, underwear drawer, etc), so I have given up and just toss everything in.

She is correct. You should be concentrating your efforts on HER undies and the most efficient method of divesting her of said garment.

You should also be purchasing underwear for her that pleases you.

Nice one... must be a pain to pair them tho. Mine are easy, one drawer all black and one drawer all white. And because I rotate them religiously, they wore out at the same rate so I can pair them with whatever.

I detect some OCD in this thread!

I don't have enough boxers for a week. I do laundry often, and usually toss in the kid's dirty's as well in order to make up a full load. That, coupled with 2 cyclists that ride 4 to 6 days a week (bibs, shorts, jerseys, arm/leg warmers, tights).... Then there's the drool towels for the mastiff pup. We have a LOT of laundry.

Oh, I just toss the clean stuff back into the appropriate drawers (pun intended).

Yes. You should forget all the rotation and just keep the frilly red ones on top no matter what. If they fade or get skid marks, replace them with frilly black ones.

I have a number of these for the purpose of organization:

Just washed ones typically go in the back of the box, but I seem to pull out the favorites first when it comes to wearing.
