Drip Drip Drop

Little April Showers, la la ti dah...

Hi foo!

Its a nice rainy day here in CR. I finally was able to connect my laptop, but only after we traveled to a different town. We are chilling out at the German bakery in Arenal, its lightly raining, and it feels lovely right now.

How's the Foo life going?

So....what's the scoop?

Where are you staying? What will you 'do' in CR? Give us the details we probably missed a year ago!

Foo is about the normal level of oddity it usually is.

The scoop is, we are getting adjusted little by little, which seems to take longer than we anticipated. We have no vehicle, we barely have house furnishing in our rental (in Cabanga) and we find ourselves with a lot of time on our hands. The future plans is to eventually have some kind of eco tourism business going. Health/bellydance/raw food retreats, along those lines.

OK. Cool. I didn't know what kind of business was in the plans.

Good luck! I sincerely hope it works out magnificently for you and Joe.

Yes, it will take a long time to get there, but I really hope it works out myself. Thanks.

Is that some sort of euphemism that I'm too naive to know about?

Hi UA! We are still settling, getting things done slowly. Sometimes it feels amazing, sometimes it feels like we're completely cut off from the whole world. The language barrier is difficult. We're doing fine, though.

That will be SO helpful when we're at the bank trying to pick up our debit cards. Thanks!

All you need to know is to not learn Spanish from MV.

Dear me, that was awful MV.

I don't know what a bana is, except perhaps campesino for a banana. Deseo used that way means that you want to know a beer, biblically...

The last one wasn't too bad...

And deseo just means want...same as quiero.....in CR maybe its biblical. In spain, it will get you a beer.

Heather, do you know the meaning of Cabanga? It is what you are if your boyfriend leaves you.
