Any Kiwis on here?

Just wondering if there are any other Kiwis hanging about this forum? I'm a Kiwi but I live in Canada. I'm from Auckland, New Zealand.

If you're a Kiwi or live in New Zealand... post where you live/lived and where you live now.

Cheers

I'm not a Kiwi, but I did see all three Lord of the Rings movies. Does that count?

Not unless you were IN the movies

Everything tastes better in NZ. The food is just tastier in general. Regarding butter specifically... I think the milk is more creamy... therefore more creamy butter I'd say.

Kiwifruit are just naturally hairy little buggers. Nuf said. Have you seen golden kiwi? They're practically hairless.

And yes... there are a ton more sheep in NZ than people... that is not a myth.

I'm a kiwi and proud of it.

I'm living in Christchurch but it's not the greatest place to spend winter. Maybe I should look for a job in Nelson.

Oh and while we do have a lot of sheep, the size of the national sheep herd has been decreasing over the last few years as farmers switch to dairying or viticulture. There still are 45 million sheep here though. And four million people.

Oh and it would be so cool to have a Foo party over here. Let me know if your coming over and I'll see what I can arrange. I'm bound to have a bike (or two) that will fit as well.

Cool. I'm going for a visit to NZ Feb 2010 but will probably be sticking around the Auckland - Hamilton - Tauranga region as that is where my family all live. My parents live in Devonport, Auckland and that's where I spend most of my time. I have some family in Christchurch - I can't remember what part now though.

Three weeks in NZ last Nov/Dec. Any Kiwis want to adopt a 43 y.o. kid who knows how to change bike tires and clean chains?

I had attached them to another thread back in December when I got home from the trip. I just went to that thread and copied the image location (Firefox: right click on picture > Copy Image Location). Then used the photo button at the top of the editing window with that link to add them to this thread.

Thanks. But New Zealand is the kind of place where even a one-eyed monkey could take amazing photos if you give them three weeks and an 8 gig memory card.

Neither, but, we do get to ride through Howick most weekends on our way to the great Tour de Hanua.

New Zealand is the only country that's ever deported me. Does that count for anything?
