When life throws you lemons...

...find somebody who's life threw them some vodka and have a party.

Do you ever have one of those days where you just can't get motivated and you're getting all sorts of stuff thrown in your direction and you kinda just wanna say screw it? Today is one of those days. I've been sitting in my "office" all damn day and have gotten about 10 minutes worth of work done. I decided to sit by the pool (which is where I"m out now) to see if it would motivate me. Nothing yet. I sometimes miss working with other people.

I sometimes get those days and when that happens I don't try to push it. A long skate or a bike ride usually helps put me back on track. I've go the best of all worlds in my job. Some days I'm on site at a clients, some days at the office and others working from home.

I go to my real office once a year. I visit customer sites often enough, I just haven't had to go anywhere in like 2 weeks. And I'm stir crazy and have no motivation.

Get on your bike now and go for a ride. It's gotta be way better than what you're doing now.

It's about to rain. And I still have welps from riding in the rain Tuesday. Which doesn't help my mood too much.

^^

That's what I'm going to do in 5 minutes, or 7 minutes as it's a 2 minute ride down to my favorite downtown bar.

The OP sez it all. Like my pappy used to say, when life gives you lemons, make margaritas. Myassis Dragon today, just got on the bike to pedal a short bit and now I feels better.
