Just some dorky thing online, but what constitutes being a "well traveled" individual? Multiple continents, multiple counties? Seems like moving goalposts, if you ask me.

Haha, I have only been to three or four states and crossed into Canada just to say I did it.

My wife, though, has been to most continents and states and all of Europe for a substantial amount of time.

That list is lame. It left out half of my Australian, Brazilian, Norwegian, and Japanese stops.

It's more like "Which major cities have you been to"?

This thing mistakes having been to big cities as being well-travelled. Feh.

I wouldn't call myself well-travelled in the midwest based on having been to/through Salt Lake City, Denver, Chicago, and Minneapolis. Nor would I consider myself well-travelled in the west based on visiting Seattle, Portland, Napa (where did that one come from, by the way?), San Francisco, and LA.

I think it's vacation places (Martha's Vineyard? Cabo?), not big cities.

Where I've been,

Caribbean and warm climes -- Mexico, Dominican Republic, Saba, Statia, Barbados, St. Lucia, Grenada, Carriacou, St. Marten
U.S. -- Florida (Tampa, St. Pete's Beach, Orlando, South Beach), California (L.A. area, Venice Beach etc), New York, Chicago, Boston, Las Vegas
Canada -- Ontario (Peterborough, Toronto, Ottawa), Quebec (Montreal, Quebec City, Laurentians), BC (Uclulet, landed in Vancouver only)

Edit* I didn't bother with the survey because I've not travelled beyond my small area.
