Fun songs to play on Guitar

Seek and Destroy- Metallica
Hell Bent for Leather- Judas Priest (the tapping solo is so ace, especially on my acoustic )
Blackbird- The Beatles
Last 1.5min of Seabeast, by Mastodon is bliss. I feel like Erwin Rommel riding a T-rex when I play this.

Fellow guitarofiles, what say you?

Beast of Burden - Rolling Stones

Easy as all get-out to do the basics. Much more difficult to nail that loose rhythm and get all the tasty fills that are running around it. Great tune to jam with and play with the rhythms. Works electric/acoustic/slow/fast. Lot of fun when you've got a good bassist and drummer who listen to what's going on and will change things up.

And I'm not even that much of a Stones fan.

Start with Jimmie, build up a lot of callouses and work your way up

I worked for a long time to nail Cream-era Clapton...I finally got it, more or less, at one point many years ago, but now i can barely play that stuff....sooooo rusty.

I can sorta do Play with Fire - love those chords.

BTW, in guitar shops, "Blackbird" is considered the acoustic equivalent of "Stairway To Heaven"...i.e. the song most played by people who pick up a non-amplified guitar. Honorary mention goes to "Dust In The Wind" by Kansas.

I forgot to put the latter on my list too.
