Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Just a Few More Days.......

Until the 40th anniversary of the greatest achievement in Human History.......by a fellow Purdue student, no less! Neil Armstrong is a Purdue ALum.

That's right, July 20th is the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission and the first manned lunar landing......in fact, the first time Humanity set foot on another world!

So, it begs the question, when will we next go back, and what's next on the agenda for manned space flight? Discuss.........

Wow, they don't teach the difference between a satellite and a planet at Purdue?

You can follow @apolloplus40 on Twitter for real-time-plus-40-years updates of the mission. Kind of cool.

Only you're not 40.

At first, I thought he was talking about the Jackson 5 being on the Ed Sullivan show.
