Weirdest place you've ever....

Okay, for this thread, state something you've done, and the weirdest place you've ever done it in...

For example, yesterday, I was installing some access points at a client's place to expand their network, but one of the buildings on the property is 100 years old and only has 2-prong electric, so the Wireless AP can't plug in there without a cheater plug.

So, next door to a house is a small horse stable that unbelievably has numerous 3-prong outlets in each stall. So, I end up installing a Wireless Access Point on the wall of a stall in a horse barn.

I took a nice nap on the bench on the 4th floor outside balcony at San Francisco MOMA. (Located just between the 2 wings of the Anselm Keifer exhibit).

I have slept:

- In my car on the campus of Notre Dame. Went to meet a girl, it went well, but you can't have opposite sex overnight guests. Even though we tried.

- in the lobby of the Mich St U student union. More than once.

- in a park across the street from the Michigan capital building.

- in a park in the middle of downtown Atlanta.

- several different rest areas along major highways.

In case youre wondering, I've never been homeless, I just like to adventure.

office, elevator, Kmart changing room (it was my blue light special), etc.

Best place was on a balcony overlooking the Gulf.

The weirdest place I've ever sung karaoke was at the Hyangsan Hotel outside of Pyongyang. That hotel was also the weirdest place I've ever woken up with a hangover.

When I said "nap" that was just a euphemism for a 20 minute sleep.

The weirdest place I have ever had an office.

On a 24' barge, with all the furniture and railings removed, tied into a slip at a marina.

Had a desk, phones, computer, etc, just no walls at all. Just a flat decked pontoon boat, 24' x 8', covered in carpet. Had to watch your step getting on or off my "office". As a plus, it came with all the fish you could catch and it had ducks to eat your lunch scraps.

Used to run a boat rental business, and during a summer of extremely heavy rain, the lake we were based on got so high that the US Army Corps of Engineers closed the lake. Thats right, our government closed a lake due to it having too much water.

So we scrambled around and got the fleet of 10 ski boats, 6 jet skis, three sail boats and a 56' houseboat moved to another lake that was constant level.

The barge thing just sort of happened, as we had to have a place to sit down, answer phones, write up rental agreements, etc.

Slept in a rest area in a bad part of South Georgia with windows wide open.

I was on a road trip (age 17) and ran out of money, so couldn't afford a motel. It was too hot to leave windows up...slept just long enough to refresh a little and got the hell away from there. I remember a guy coming to my window trying to sell me "authentic" Rolex watches for about $50.

You could have just said South Georgia....it would then be understood that it was a bad part. I can't think of a good part of S. GA.

Remember Foo requirements - poo and/or sex must be mentioned within the first 10 posts.

And ... it just so happened - I was poster numba 10.

The ducks would poop and have sex on my office barge, or in close proximity thereto. Duck sex is quite violent and not fun to observe. Same goes for duck poop, except for the violence part.

I think we can SAFELY ASSUME MV's post at #4 was about sex.
