Any paragliders or hang gliders?

I want to learn to fly something simple and affordable, like paragliding or hanggliding. Does anyone here participate in this? How dangerous are they compared to cycling?

I remember a while back when we were at a State Park he showed us some hang gliders and mentioned how many bodies they pluck off the cliffs, due to the unforgiving unpredictable winds. That was enough to convince us that we didn't want to do it anymore.

We have a couple of ultralights that we fly and my brother and I have a Libelle sailplane that I think is the most fun that any human can have, legal or otherwise.
