Bring back the "Larry Bird" era shorts!

Seriously. No one can see my massive quads with the modern style, "Below the knee, Old Navy shorts.
I have a closet full of 1979 John McEnroe style shorts just waiting to come back in style!

In the 70's when I first started at Mobil Chemical - packing bread bags - before climbing the ladder (and going to college at night) till I was a Buyer in Purchasing - my General Foreman was this red headed ladies man that the ladies on the factory line ogled over - and he had his favorites (he was married too) and he had many affairs .... AND he used to wear a lot of light colored pants when walking through the factory - white, pink - and yellow. AND he never wore underwear. And it was so freaking noticeable!!!!!!!!!

I found out a year after I left that something happened and he retired within a week - had to do with an affair he had with one or two on the line and it was to become public.

Yellow pants huh?

I give them another 5 years. As fashions go, this one is nearing the extremely absurd stage that will result in an instantaneous backlash.

Personally, I'm not looking forward to a return to the cutoff jeans of the '70s, where guys had to worry about junk hanging out. So... that would have been the extremely absurd stage short short stage that ended that cycle.

i've been seeing gals in cutoffs again lately. I cannot lie - I LOVE 'em. Must be my age showing, but cutoffs remind me of the 70s (my early teens). rawr

'Tis.

(I thought "trashy Britney" would pop that image up instantly in GIS, but shockingly, there are hundreds of different pictures of She of Trashiness, making that particular image kind of hard to find.)
