Arrghhhh!!!!!

I am so mad right now. I was riding this AM and took a corner too fast and hit some sandy gravel. I tried to correct and not wipe, but instead of falling on my left, I fell on my right arm and bars cracking my 2 month old Rival shifter/brake assembly. with only 950miles on it!!! DANG!

If you are uninsured, fixing a broken arm would be a hell of a lot MORE expensive.

I don't think you're lucky. I would freak out too. I ate it going down a steep driveway and the first thing I did when I got up was check my BRAND NEW bike for damage, I thought I had hurt my bike, put a ding on the seat etc. I couldn't care less about my jammed shoulder etc.

Can you post some pics of the bike? Oh and if you are bloodied, post some of those as well.

They were at the end of their life anyway.

Also, good time to convert to singlespeed.

I wanted to post pics but my dang iphone shutter won't open! I was surprisingly only minimally bloodied! (a little road rash on my hip) The bike is in the shop today.

and Luddite, I would prefer to see pics of your pet rat eating your bloody toe!

Dude, this is America! HTFU and sue somebody! Don't settle for anything less than your own personal street cleaning crew that leaves your origination point 5 minutes before you do, and takes whatever route you tell them to do.

Is that Fooish enough for you?
