Why are kittehs crazy?

I visited Tude this weekend and had a blast. However, when I was taking a nap and dreaming of my hobby, Ming viciously attacked my foot. While Ming is an awesome kitteh, why is she crazy? Are all baby kittehs crazy?

I have a feeling that Tude's cats are all very intuitive. Ming must have sensed that you were dreaming of burning couches again. She was likely protecting Tude's couch.

I am guessing you moved your foot in your sleep. Moving body parts are fair game for kittens, especially feet and hands.

My dog says it's because cats don't have the brain power of a flea but then she has a slight bias!

She is crazy. I was this close to stealing her from Tude. It would be nice having something crazier the me hanging around my house.

They live with you for free, lie around the house while you go to work to earn money to feed and house them, and they're crazy?

Anything within line-of-sight of a kitten automatically belongs to the kitten for the purposes of stalking, pouncing, chasing, climbing, nipping, biting, clawing, and sleeping on/in/under. (with the exception of water-filled squirtbottles and vaccuum cleaners, these are the things of terrifying nightmares)

Oh and btw - after playing with bad, bad toy Couchy got her that makes chirping noises -- from 5-6 am (I couldn't find the toy either! - just the birdy every so often) - then she surprised me with going after my toes too.

It was good for a few good belly laughs from the time we picked it up in the store and all the way home "Ming is sooooo going to hate us!"

I think the pic Tude posted is proof enough that Ming should be in a Kitteh Institution. She obviously has no fashion sense and doesn't do good with yellow.

And we (wife and I) after taking cat to vet Saturday need to get a head cone on him to keep him from scratching ears. 2 days and 37 claw injuries later, we still haven't succeeded.

+1. It doesn't just apply to kittens, either. 15 year old Ishtar likes to sleep on the bed and if I move my toes when he's down at the foot of the bed, I'm liable to get "pounced".

Ok, so from what I have read so far, all cats have psychopathic tendencies and Ming was just displaying normal Kitteh behavior. Looks like I'm wear a Kevlar body suit the next time I visit Tude.

Well, after meeting Ming I'm thinking of getting a kitteh for Inge. Is there a particular breed that is completely nuts?

I wish I had an answer and not a partially severed finger tip. My neighbours cats got frisky so now there are four kitties prowling about. One got itself caught between the hottub wall and the deck stairs banister; when I tried to extract the brainless wonder it chomped down on a finger REEEALLY HARD!
