please tell me you mean the pre-Priscilla Elvis?

I just realized I'm a bit older than Elvis was when he checked out.

Was he short?

No shout outs for Steven Tyler and all the other sexagenarians crippled at these events?

I can't think of anywhere I'd rather NOT be than Sturgis, cigarette smoke, drunks, noise and fools. Sounds like a NASCAR race come to think of it, ick!

I recently met a bunch of (mostly) Harley owners for a group ride, and it was lame. I ended up leaving them behind to continue their little parade while I enjoyed my bike at speeds it was designed for.

I'm more inclined to support something like the Love Ride than go to someplace like Sturgis or Daytona.

I'm pretty much with Brian and Shifty. While I might like to see Sturgis once I would rather take a nice ride in the country by myself than deal with the smoke and crowds. The noise wouldn't bother me so much, my Sporty's pretty loud. Having it take an hour to get from one end of a small town to the other, pass.
