    [GEEK] Network Meeting Application

have a need for a WebEx type product that allows remote control/viewing, white-boarding, etc. but this particular network does not have Internet access (secure net).

so I need something that's hosted locally, but can have multiple remotes viewing one host. PC Anywhere comes to mind but doesn't do multiple remotes. Plus I despise $ymantec.

    all PCs are WinXP.

    any ideas will be appreciated

    Radmin should work.

You can host on PC to be viewed (will run as a server), then anybody with access can view.

VNC should work too, works pretty much same...I just like Radmin better.

This is good. I'm researching a few Web Conferencing Applications.
    WebEx
    Acrobat Connect
    Live Meeting
    GoToMeeting

    All for future use.

If anyone else has other applications I'd like to hear about them. My boss wants me to put together something to talk to him about. And all this stuff is new to me.

For the record, RAdmin and VNC aren't conferencing apps and don't have all the features of conferencing apps. They're just for remoting in to another computer. But they'd work fine for many users to remote in to another computer just for viewing purposes.

    thanks

Radmin does everything but the drawing, and that may not be totally necessary since they have chat/voice capabilities.

yeah, but you could do that in a paint window or something.

Then again...if you are looking for a "long term" solution, you probably want something dedicated to the task like the ones substructure mentioned.

How about NetMeeting. It's already in the OS, or can at least be loaded from the CD.
