Anyone else having Yahoo mail problems?

Anyone else having Yahoo mail problems?

I haven't been able to get on for about last 4 hours or so. Tried 3 different browsers and none seem to go through.

Anybody else having similar issues?

Not similar issues, no. Are you using "classic" or the new(er), ajax-based interface?

The search regularly comes up empty when it shouldn't, though.

This is at work, so I can't reset the router. I forgot to try when I got home yesterday.

I'm using the new interface and have been for quite a while. I'm using as my main browser, Chrome, mostly just for Foo and email during the day. But I also tried on Firefox and IE yesterday and all had problems.

I was just wondering the same thing....although when work blocks a site, it usually comes up with a big message page saying it was blocked. When I get time, I'll ask somebody in office if they have Yahoo mail and have them try.

No argument here. I have Yahoo, Hotmail and Gmail. I use Gmail mostly, but still have a few "official" type stuff tied to Yahoo that's not easy to sever. It's just a quick check mostly. My "real" email goes to gmail.

I use Yahoo mail (technically Yahoo Mail Plus, as well as the included E-mail that comes with one domain hosted by them) as my main account, although my main access is through POP3 and my Outlook directory. Even though there is better, I've used it for a long while, and it is a good main contact point.

My favorite E-mail service, The Message Center, was one recommended to me by MrCrassic, as I'm trying to get relatives to move off their antiquated E-mail services to a service far more reliable. So far, they have been excellent.

Odd....this issue never did resolve. I tried suggestions here and a few I found online. All the standard stuff like clearing cookies, reinstalling browsers, etc...... Nothing - still couldn't use Yahoo here at work, though it was fine at home. Others here at work had no problems with it...just me.

I had just resolved to not checking yahoo at work...just waiting until I got home. Just tried again, first time in a few months and it works again just fine.

Fo Gigure!
