So, I'm watching a person in England talk about a bunch of interesting and not so interesting things right now, live, while other people ask intelligent and unintelligent questions.

I think I'd rather just hear about Astro without the physics part!

Yes it is very strange, but also very cool. To talk to people not involved in on line forums, chat rooms etc - is one thing - but to claim you haz friends all over the world via these places - people are "uh-Huh".

Some of my friend's wives/husbands refer to their internet friends as "imaginary" friends.

Indeed.

And so did the locals from my local bar, as I used to talk about some friends and how they were to visit me, etc. And I would get the same detective questions, "how did you meet them?" - "oh so You've never met them and they are staying at your house ... huh"

First time I brought one of my best friends in the world, from Toronto, in there - and they loved her name, JuciLuci, they were quite taken aback. Huh, you can have some friends via these darn forums and do meet and greets. They need to get off the old bar stools and come about.

But then not every person is a forum type person.

We're not imaginary. And I've met some of the greatest people here and in another forum.

I still feel weird telling people how I met <3 2 Ride. I keep feeling like I need to explain that she is real and we have met in real life. It's strange.

Juci has had some complicated knee surgery - actually the surgery only took 90 minutes. No cartilage in one knee whatsoever (and this is a kickboxing, TurboJam teaching kinda gurl) - and also a split femur. 1st doctor - said amputate, 2nd doctor - not good, 3rd doctor - stem cells. They took stem cell from other knees cartilage and grew more C for the past 6 months and just fixed the knee up. She's now supposed to be off the leg for prolly 4 months - and is on this machine for 4-6 hours a day that moves your leg (PT). Prognosis - hopeful! Love that stem cell stuff.

And the darn gurl is still getting around via hobbling, hates walker, and a crutch with HOP associated to it.

She's one hell of a freaking gutsy gurl, a fantastic woman.

And I'm posting this for all to see versus PM'ing you - because I think the stem cell research is doing a wonderful thing - AND harvesting from the patient's own limbs - totally cool. And I'm posting because there are so many people out there with knee problems.

I have a great friend - a big bear of a guy whose entire family have knee problems - he was enthralled with what I told him about Juci in Canada. Here - he was told he has to wait as long as he can (he hopes to retire early) before they do constructive knee surgery on him. As they can really only do one main operation, and another minor operation - and then it's wheel chair time.

He has no cartilage either.

Your "harvest" makes a lot of people smile, especially me - and I love spreading that harvest/happiness to others. Thank you.

We met through cycling, love. Who cares what anyone else thinks about whether it was in person or on a cycling website. We met. No need to explain any further.

The point of the matter is that you are happy, and both complete each other in complimenting each other's lives. Granted there are miles between you - but with patience and love and confrontation of anything that may try to interfere, those miles are diminishing. And each step closer that is making that gap smaller is getting stronger and stronger.

One thing that I do have to say, is that I feel very fortunate to be able to witness ON THE INTERNET, the joining of your lives, of your love and your commitment to each other. As I know in my heart that with your presence to each other, I see your souls together as one that is enlightening in a world of naysayers.

You are both so awesome.
