I have six (yes, I'm that guy! ) they do this thing where all but one (Promo) sit around me when I eat, then Promie (Promo) comes up slowly from behind and reaches his little paw ever so slowly around to my plate with claws extended, grabs a piece of whatever little morsel he may find, then slowly moves his arm back around me and runs off with it! all his croonies in pursuit! he looks so funny running on three legs while holding whatever it is in one front paw! Of course I have to give them the rest after that, but its worth it!

Ming likes money. coins are fun, but paper is better. Found a $10 bill last night behind my bed - thought I dropped it (always empty out my backpack on bed) - however - this $10 bill had hundreds of little teeny holes in it where she chewed on it and ran around with it.

Trammo (my beast) won't touch cash but he goes nuts for receipts! Must be something in the thermal paper that drives him batguano insane.

Yup, my cats chew on whatever paper they can find, even cardboard boxes! and they used to pee on plastic? What the hells up with that!? They stopped after they were fixed, but they used to do it all the time! we couldn't leave any type of plastic anywhere!

I feel so inadequate only having one cat. He, on the other hand, loves it.

LizzieMumu used to do that, especially to our toes. The worst part was that she knew how to open doors and/or get in through the window, so even when we'd throw her out so we could get some peace, she'd find a way to get in. Devious kitty, that one was.

Yeah - pretty much any paper works, the crinklier the better - envelopes? They're hers and she'll sit at my feet and meow waiting for me to crinkle it up (making more noise) and tossing it.

I'm waiting for the toilet paper incident though. She's been eyeing it.

Much like this ... (Ming and her marauding band of siblings killed paper back in the old house - this is Birdy, Ming's runt sister)

what a cutie!!!!!!

the TP incident??? only one cat does that..and of course she'll do it when we're down to the last roll...*****

she has chewed up, chased, and destroyed more rolls of TP and the occasional paper towel roll than I can count

but she follows me to bed every night and snuggles at my feet...so she definitely owns me

DId research on "longhair" siamese. Because even my vet was going back and forth - calling her a "Simmy/Himmy" (siamese/himalayan) - and the fact that she's very unique - to sport such almost true characteristics/coloring to the breed - when she was born from a light orange cat and her siblings were all orange, light orange or a dark tiger.

Ming and family.

But, in the 40's - (btw long hair siamese were not standard and so not procreated if possible) two women took long hair siamese and one was mated with a persian cat - these became known as Himalayan, the other woman bred the long hair siamese with an Angora cat - these became known as "Balinese" - and this is where I think Ming came from - her fur is cotton ball soft and is longer than it looks.

No peepee on plastic. Actually I have no problems with kitten or 3 old (neutered male) - Ming will be spayed probably around December. Not having a female in heat evar. I lived with several at roommates house for nearly 1-1/2 yrs. Really bad when the one cat - who loved me - sat on my shoulder - lived in my room- started going into heat heavily - and so my room was sprinkled several times. Peed on a skirt that was on the bed. Came home one time and tossed NEW winter jacket on bed and went downstairs and remember I put clothing on bed - ran back up to find her sitting on my jacket looking at me. Picked her up and there was giant puddle on jacket. grrrr. And yes female cats DO spray - it shoots out just not as far - I watched that cat walk by my open closet doing a "spray".

No cat in heat for me.

Dexter pees on plastic too. And magazines.

There's a baby gate across the doorway to his room, so that he can get away from the dogs. He'll sit at the gate, with a paw stuck through one of the holes, and bat the dogs upside their heads.

You cat owners have to constantly affirm each other, so I am gonna have to say the cat's own you.

We got two kittens and thought they were boy and girl so we named them after the X-files characters Fox (didn't like Mulder as a name) and Scully. Sure enough Scully turned out to be a boy.
