Are you an early bird, night owl, or in between?

Take this convenient quiz and find out!

http://www.psychologytoday.com/artic...our-body-clock

I scored a 12, and am a definite owl. Explains why I'm up on BF at 1:20am.

Definite early bird - no test needed. I am at my desk before 6am most days.

Moderate Owl. O_o

While you don't consider yourself nearly nocturnal, you do prefer evenings to mornings. Your mood increases steadily throughout the day. A job that starts at 7 A.M. is not appealing, but a fishing trip at dawn isn't out of the question.

More of a vampyre actually. I only get up in the mornings because I have to. The minute I take any vacations, I go back to staying up at nights.

My wife brought up an interesting point: If you did not have to work, would your score change? Mine definitely would. Even on vacation, I tend to go to bed later and later. I've stayed up until 4 or 5AM, for example. Cooking ziti at 1AM FTW.

moderate early bird.
I'm at work by 06:30 every morning.
Staying up late is fine for a few days but after 4 or 5 I'm a zombie.

On that I scored a 26, I am flexible - and that's true - I can get up and do it, and I can also not.

Now, should I have taken this during my 6 years bartending/restaurant work - he - weekends I pulled double shifts at two different bars.

Opened one bar at 11 am, left it at 6:50 pm, zoomed (on bike) to next bar - walked into a well saturated happy hour crowd - DJ plays my entrance song - yada yada - I was at that bar many times till 3-4 am as I stocked (later anyway when the owners/boss's were going thru divorce) and then many times I went over to friend's (all bartenders) house where we gathered and basically spent our "evening" and would leave after day break ... Oh yeah - and then I had to do the same double shift the next day. Killed me but I made decent money. 28 hrs in two days with a good bachelor party at one bar at night - I had sometimes $500
+ in my pocket. (but no health ins)

But ... I am a big gurl now and and more of a day timer here, however I've been on here till the weeeee hours!

Weird days then.

I don't have those anymore! Although I have had one of my old places call and request I do a "celebrity" night - bartending one night a week. Had her bar been more decent - I might be willing - because I do still have my draw (old customers who want to know where I'm working now - I talked to all my peeps --probably entertained them too - I'm quite animated) - but nah.

That was then ... Used to be a night owl, I've been back in the daytime quite a while.

I have been a night owl since I was a toddler, drove my parents crazy. I have gotten acclimated to all kinds of shiftwork, but 2nd and 3rd are definitely the ones I really naturally thrive in.

I go to bed late and get up early. I try to cover all three shifts. I don't want any of the hours feeling too neglected.

I'm a moderate night owl who is forced to be an early bird due to my job. I get up at 4:45am on weekdays, and thanks to that schedule, it's now nearly impossible for me to sleep past 7am on weekends. On the other hand, I don't like to sleep half the day away. If I wake up later than 9 or 10, I'm angry at myself.

My entire family is composed of night owls...dunno if it's genetic or we were raised that way, but we're all kinda brain dead until after lunch. It's definitely a chore to try to get my siblings to bed at 9pm and up at 7am for school when they just naturally want to stay up unti 11pm or 12am and wake up around noon. Mornings are not a happy time to be at our place.
