Anybody have a hookah?

Have you used it?

We picked one up at a garage sale this morning. It came with a box of charcoal but no tobacco. It's going in our Den of Sloth in the basement. We're not smokers, but I'm sure some of our friends will use it.

My husband has a couple. I've briefly tried it a few times.

I have two which I bought in Dubai. Unfortunately they have never been tried since I have asthma and have difficulty inhaling.

Sound's like you bought yours for decoration only. Basically that's why we bought ours. It'll go nicely in my wife's middle eastern themed room downstairs. I'm sure we'll have a hookah party with some of our friends (prime segue for Varminter). For some reason, it's becoming popular in the Bellydancing world which my wife is part of. I just don't want our house to stink like smoke for more than a couple of hours.

I did buy them for decoration sakes but I also to learn how to use them. I am not a smoker but like the sent of the fruit flavored smoke. If I didn't have asthma, it may be easy for me to try. Nonetheless, the pipes are pretty.

I have two that I use every so often, I'm not a tobacco fan so it's usually just a pinch of peach or rootbeer shisha and then some hippie herb on top.

I have one that I use every now and then. It's much smoother than cigarettes. I've had mine for a couple of years.

He actually has only used it with flavored tobacco. He has never tried weed.

I've smoked hookah.

It's smooth, but it's still tobacco. Tastes good, though.

Smoking hookah...not making chicken.

Sheesh...what an improper use of basil. Stick to bay leaves.

I think they're kinda pretty from the glass point of view ... I collect vases and such and absolutely love all my colored vases - and use them too with cut flowers. However, finding room for one of them is a little space greedy ...
