Teh kitteh has a new hobby

So teh kitteh's previous hobbies were watching predator shows (he loves the Prehistoric Predators show on NatGeo), talking, and playing the piano. Now he has also learned to make art out of his food.

A couple of days ago, he made this:

Kinda looks like a dolphin from this view.

Or a tree from this one

Today he made another one that looked somewhat like a shield but I didn't have my camera on me. Drat. Honestly...he's better at art than I am.

I've heard that some animals make decent money from their "art". There was some story in the news a year or two ago about the amount of money people were paying for paintings made be elephants.

Find a way to market your cat's art to pay for your bike habit.

Does he really watch tv? My dog couldn't care less unless there are other dogs barking on whatever show it is. He really hates Animal Cops.

Here's a pic of it in action:

This was the Prehistoric Predators episode with the dire wolves. He just sat there through the entire show, just watching. I've found that he couldn't care less about shows about people or small animals, but if the show features large animals he will watch it. Still, his favorite is Prehistoric Predators. If it's on and he's in the vicinity of the TV he will come to watch. So weird.

Beemer will come from anywhere in the house to watch F1 racing. He seems to like the sound of the engine going through the gears during the shots from inside the cars.

My cat likes to bat at the cursor when I'm on the computer and I had another that liked to watch horses running across the TV. He couldn't understand why they went away when he went to the other side of the box.

my kitten has developed a slightly more destructive hobby and one that wakes me up. She's managed to partially tear off fabric covering that covers my box springs (bed is a couple months old) and so now the big cat and her use it as a hammock. It's coming off pretty soon.

So...her hobby is furniture reconstruction. I bet she's very pleased at how she "improved" your bed.

My cat used to like to swat, scratch and bite at my feet and legs while I was sleeping, then run for it. What fixed that was a combo of having his nuts chopped off, and spraying him with water and locking him in the bathroom all night after he acted up.

They ALL do that.

Our oldest watches only if there are baby animals on the screen, she's very maternal.

My little one loves feet under the blanket - blanket monster! And she's quick. I really have to watch her around doors - she scoots right by you. Didn't realize it but she had jumped into the fridge recently - thank goodness (although I usually keep an eye on her at all times) I had to get something in there - cause when I opened the door out she walked. Sheesh she's only 6 months old and I swear only has 5 lives left as it is!

Hey nekohime, I assume the neko in your name is well..neko yes? =^.^=

My girls plow through whatever food I put down start to finish like a dog. I guess I'll have to check and see if there is any art work on the other end.

Yep. Meow.

Do it! Then find some gullible people interested in cat art and sell it to them.

Even though I lived for x-number years in my house and "fought" off my neighbor's cats - whom she left outside to go to the "bathroom" in everyone else's flower gardens (and I had my hands on "clumps" of "dirt" in which were not DIRT- and went OFF!), I could never do that!
