Interesting place to display stuffed animals...

You and your wife are too damn cute with those puppies!

Is that a snowplow on the train?

In picture 83, I love the guy's face coming out of the statue. The look on it is priceless.

Awesome stuff....looks like a great trip! And it was on the Princess line, so I know the food was spectacular.

Was afraid I'd miss the boat running all over trying to find it. I HAD to see her before I left.

Not sure what you mean? The taxidermy stuffed animals? It was a museum of a (supposedly) famous taxidermist. All animals are claimed to have died of natural causes, not killed.

Yes. I only knew what it was because of seeing one at a small train museum here in Seattle area (Issaquah).

I wish I could have got a picture of the William Seward Shame pole. Very rarely (only for MAJOR incidents) the natives commission a "shame" totem pole to ridicule the recipient. William Seward had a potlatch held in his honor, with the clear understanding he was supposed to return the potlatch within 2 years. He never did before he died. The pole was a few miles outside of town though, and not on the tour.

Here's pic from online I found:

Although the food was wonderful and MORE than plentiful. I heard from others that although the food was great, that was probably the only thing Princess didn't excel in over many other cruise lines.

We got VERY lucky in terms of weather. Nearly everywhere we went we kept hearing it had been raining in days previous and it just cleared up the day we were there.

The only rain we got was in Skagway in the early morning when we first got there, but it cleared up 15-20 minutes later.

And some light on/off rain in Ketchikan.
