What OS are you using at home ?

What are you using at home? If you have more than one computer or boot partition, select the one you use the most.

I have three computers. One is 9 years old and running Ubuntu Linux. The Macbook is running OSX and Windows 7 beta in a vm. The iMac runs OSX. I'm gonna start using Windows 7 a little more but so far this year, OSX is what I use at home the most.

I used to tinker a lot but these days not much time. Always had a fascination with the free OSs but really, no no no time any more for such things.
1 cx bike, commuter (light off road), 2 road bikes (sportives and fair weather commuter), 1 mtb (off road fun and antics)

I voted OTHER because I use at least 3 of these at home.
Dangit, I almost only post in Foo, so my post count is abysmal.

Main rig has Win XP SP3.

I have more old computers than old bikes, though. Others include:

Server running Fedora Core 4, which almost never sees a GUI or even has a monitor hooked up.
    Mac Performa running OS 9.0.4
    Next slab running Nextstep
Sperry PC clone running whatever Dos floppy I slap in when I turn it on.
    Commodore 64

Color or b/w? Either way, I am jealous.

Man, those NeXT machines were sweet. Once upon a time, I was an admin for a UNIX lab at Cal Poly and we had 12 ancient Sun IPCs and 12 NeXTs (half slabs and half cubes). No contest which one I used for the shifts I had to spend in the lab. NeXT all the way. Eventually they got ride of the NeXTs and went with 12 Ultra 10s and 12 HP X-terminals. Never as cool as the NeXT machines.

My Next is the 25 MHz black and white. It has Reed College engraved on the back of the case. I think they got rid of them around 1999. My ex's roommate got a hold of it for free and left it behind when he moved out. It was mine by 2002 after confirming he didn't want it anymore.

As for the Commodore 64, I haven't had that hooked up since about 2001. Now that it's fall, I'm sure to hook it up some cold, rainy day here soon. I've only got 5 cartridges for it, but still fun stuff.

Hmmm... How much you want for the netbook? Which one is it?

P.S. I'm running Kubuntu here, and CrunchBang on the old laptop I use at work.

Windows 2000. Is that considered vintage now? I also have King's Quest installed on my computer.

I have a machine at my shop with Win2k on it. Tried to fire up some Netflix Watch Instantly on it the other day, but NO JOY! Silverlight won't install on Win2K.

I forget when the EOL for Win2K was, but more and more new versions of programs just won't go, so yes, it's officially vintage now.

Yeah, and that's one of the reasons I'm hoping to upgrade soon. I haven't yet decided whether I want to do serious upgrades on my current machine, or just buy a new one with Windows 7.
