I'm getting married!!!!!!

My boyfriend (and also another Fooster... most have no idea ) proposed tonight. Totally surprised me, too, which is hard to do.

We had picked out rings last week, and we were told they would be ready Oct 23. I was at home on Tuesday, and heard a message saying that they were delayed 7 more days. In the back of my mind, I wondered if my boyfriend had put the salesguy up to it, but I figured they would never do something like that...

He had mentioned kind of in passing that we should just dress up tonight and go out anyway, and I fed off it, and said, "Yeah, let's do that!" The signs were all pointing toward engagement, but I never, ever thought that he'd be able to pull off something like this (he's horrible at surprises... he gets excited, and can't wait to spill the beans ). Plus, I'm gullible.

No time to take better pictures, sorry...

Yay! Congratulations, April (and the un-named fooster ). It's a beautiful ring. He did a very nice job.

Wow! Beautiful ring for a beautiful cyclist, that lucky guy!! I love it. Will there be a virtual Foo wedding and reception? Can we throw Sports Beans and toast with bubbly Gatorade?

It's amazing how many Foo couples are cropping up - maybe this site should consider adding a matchmaking component to it

Edit: I almost forgot- Congratulations!
